dude that was some really top notch filming. Well done and thank you! I could watch footage like this all day. You really capture what it was like to be in the front row at a Pantera show, this brought back all the great memories of going to four and five in a row Pantera shows when I was younger. Man they could out play anyone! Thanks again for the footage! Hail!

TruckTheTroll

I went to this show ON my 16th fucking birthday… THE greatest show ive ever seen, and ive seen some shit! I was screaming along and head banging the whole Pantera set (moshing to a full Slayer set will take it out of the most veteran metal head). There is no good recording of this show, its awesomeness was unbridled. I can remember the bass taking over for my heart muscles, when you opened your mouth air would come shooting out of your lungs involuntarily. It will NEVER get this good again.

David Carradine Flashback.
Bay Area Backstage On Location for a Shoot in LA .
During the Breaks we spoke with David about Comic Books..
Cool stories about his collection.
David spoke about the early days of comics and the time his father incinerated all his comic books- including Batman’s first appearance. That and The Infamous Chicken Song.

David Carradine (born John Arthur Carradine; December 8, 1936 – June 3, 2009) was an American actor and martial artist, best known for his leading role as a warrior monk, Kwai Chang Caine, in the 1970s television series Kung Fu.[2] He was a member of a productive acting family that began with his father, John Carradine. His acting career, which included major and minor roles on stage, television and cinema, spanned over four decades. A prolific “B” movie actor,[5] he appeared in more than 100 feature films[6] and was nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award.[7] The last nomination was for his title role in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill.

Films that featured Carradine continued to be released after his death. These posthumous credits were from a variety of genres including horror, action, western, martial arts, drama, science fiction and documentary. In addition to his acting career, Carradine was also a musician and pursued a directing career. Influenced by his most popular acting role, he studied martial arts.[8][9] The son of a frequently married actor,[10] he had an unstable childhood. This instability would continue throughout his life as he himself was married five times. He was also frequently arrested and prosecuted for a variety of offenses which often involved substance abuse.[11] He died on June 3, 2009

The video for "Deceiver Of The Gods", the title track of the ninth studio album from Swedish metallers AMON AMARTH, can be seen below. The video features clips from the upcoming film "Northmen - A Viking Saga, which stars Tom HopperRyan KwantenKen Duken, and features AMON AMARTH frontman Johan Hegg as Valli.

"Northmen - A Viking Saga" was shot for eight weeks primarily in South Africa, with some additional shooting in Germany.

Johan commented on his role: “Valli is a very experienced warrior and has a strong bond with his younger brother BjornValli looks brutal with his broad back and leather-dominated clothing. He has already experienced and survived a great deal. His face is full of scars.”

Plot synopsis: “In the 9th century a group of Vikings, commanded by captain Asbjörn, is approaching Britain, aiming to plunder the rich monasteries in the north of the island. But their ship gets caught in a storm and is smashed to pieces on the rocks off the coast of Scotland, the only part of Britain without any Viking settlements. When Inghean, daughter of the Scottish King Dunchaid, by chance falls into Viking hands, they see the opportunity for demanding a large ransom. King Dunchaid immediately sets his ‘wolfpack’ — a group of mercenaries well known for their savagery — on them. The Northmen with their hostage now have to force their way through the rough highlands, where they meet the brave and mysterious Christian monk Conall. Having the wolfpack close on their heels, a desperate race against time begins. A battle over life and death…”

"Northmen - A Viking Saga" is set to receive a theatrical release in Europe on October 23.

"Deceiver Of The Gods" sold around 17,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 19 on The Billboard 200 chart. The record arrived in stores on June 25, 2013 via Metal Blade Records.

Recorded at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, United Kingdom, and produced, mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap (OPETHMEGADETHEXODUSARCH ENEMYKILLSWITCH ENGAGE), "Deceiver Of The Gods" delivers ten fiery battle hymns made of buzzsaw riffs and epic harmonies all driven by vocalist Johan Hegg's commanding Viking roar and absorbing accounts of Norse crusades and treachery.

"Deceiver Of The Gods" comes adorned with another outstanding Tom Thiel-created cover portraying a mythical battle between the Norse Gods Loki and Thor. As an added bonus, Messiah Marcolin (CANDLEMASS) makes an appearance as guest vocalist on eighth track, "Hel".
